Dr. Adam Gvili
I am Dr. Adam Gvili, I treat male pelvic floor dysfunction in New York City.
I went through a pelvic floor dysfunction myself. I had experienced all the invisible symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction such as hard flaccid, erectile dysfunction, abdominal pain, shooting pain into rectum, hypertonic pelvic floor, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and a lot more embarrassing symptoms to share. But I pulled all my courage to write this story not to humiliate myself but to empower YOU and give you HOPE that what you were experiencing can be a thing of the past and can be treated.
I struggled a lot looking for medical professionals who can help find a cure and heal me. And since most of the pelvic floor physical therapists treating pelvic floor disorders were actually females treating females, there was a disconnect when explaining my symptoms (i.e. peeing while standing at a urinal with a tight pelvic floor. Of course I can’t blame them if they cannot relate to a male patient. Don’t get me wrong, there is no doubt there are a lot of great female pelvic floor practitioners in New York City but very few are focused on men’s pelvic floor therapy. So I decided to treat men’s pelvic floor dysfunction as a MALE so that my clients could relate to me and we can normalize pelvic floor issues as a male and really create an open forum for men to literally talk about anything about men’s pelvic health.

Dr. Sam Vargas
A graduate of Columbia University and a former collegiate swimmer and dancer, Dr. Sam has dedicated her career to helping people restore strength, confidence, and comfort in their bodies. With a foundation in biomechanics and a deep appreciation for movement, she began her work treating athletes—applying precise, evidence-based techniques to optimize function and performance across all forms of activity.
After earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, she advanced her training through a prestigious sports residency at the University of Delaware, where she treated NCAA Division I athletes in track and field, football, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, ice hockey as well as professional baseball and rugby players. Now a board-certified sports clinical specialist, Dr. Sam remains guided by the principle that movement is fundamental to well-being.
As her practice evolved, Dr. Sam recognized a recurring theme: many individuals—across all genders—were quietly struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction. From pelvic pain and incontinence to post-surgical recovery and sexual dysfunction, these issues often go unspoken or are misunderstood. For women, especially postpartum or active individuals, these concerns are frequently overlooked (incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse). For men, pelvic health challenges are often underdiagnosed (urinary frequency, hard-flaccid, ED) and undertreated.
Determined to fill this gap in care, Dr. Sam pursued advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation to provide targeted, research-backed treatment in a compassionate, judgment-free environment. She combines her sports medicine expertise with pelvic health specialization to address each patient’s unique goals—whether that means returning to sport, recovering after childbirth or surgery, resolving pain, or simply improving quality of life.
Her approach integrates biomechanics, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and customized exercise programs to treat a wide range of pelvic conditions. Whether you’re a woman dealing with postpartum recovery or prolapse, a man experiencing pelvic pain or urgency, or an athlete managing core dysfunction—Dr. Sam is here to help.
Pelvic health is health—and you deserve care that meets you where you are. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and feeling like yourself again, schedule a consultation today. Relief is possible, and support is here.

Dr. Joshua Weber
Dr. Joshua Weber, a Long Island native, earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2017. With a deep-rooted passion for movement, rehabilitation, and optimizing function, he began his career in some of New York City’s top orthopedic and sports medicine clinics. Over the years, he has worked extensively with a diverse range of patients, from professional athletes and weekend warriors to post-surgical patients and individuals managing chronic pain. His experience spans orthopedic, neuromuscular, and postural dysfunctions, always with a focus on restoring strength, mobility, and quality of life. However, throughout his time in the clinic, Josh began noticing a recurring issue—an increasing number of men suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction, often in silence. Whether it was persistent pelvic pain, urinary or bowel dysfunction, erectile issues, post-prostatectomy complications, or pain with intimacy, these patients had little guidance or access to proper care. Many had spent years being misdiagnosed, brushed off, or told their symptoms were “just something to live with.” Josh saw firsthand how this lack of education and treatment options was affecting men physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
Determined to change the narrative around male pelvic health, Josh pursued advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, combining evidence-based techniques with a patient-centered approach to address the unique and often complex challenges that come with these conditions. As an out gay physical therapist who has personally navigated many of these challenges, Josh provides a judgment-free, compassionate space where men of all backgrounds can feel heard, understood, and empowered in their recovery. He understands that pelvic health issues don’t just affect the body—they impact confidence, relationships, mental health, and overall well-being.
Whether you’re dealing with chronic pelvic pain, post-surgical complications, sexual dysfunction, urinary urgency, or unexplained discomfort, Josh is here to help. His mission is to restore function, alleviate pain, and help men regain confidence in their bodies—without shame, stigma, or unnecessary suffering.
